We feel that if it isn't top-quality, it isn't worth importing and it isn't worth trying to sell. Selling less than top-quality livestock leads to wasted aquatic life (which we believe is all precious, from the tiniest nudibranch to the most exotic angelfish) as well as wasted time and money on the part of both the customer and the supplier.

 Large online companies have both enormous holding facilities and huge numbers of employees to deal with this waste. We have neither warehouses nor troops of employees and this makes it impractical and impossible to offer less-than-perfect stock. Top-quality animals may cost more than comparable animals of lower quality, both for the customer and the supplier, but we feel it is worth it for everyone because the purchase of these quality animals supports responsible collection of ma rine animals (see sidebar) and results in fewer losses, both in life and money, for collectors, wholesalers, sellers, and customers. It's a win-win proposition! In no other industry does the old saying "You get what you pay for!" apply more.
